《戰鎚 40K：爆彈槍》是一款復古風格的射擊遊戲。玩家將於遊戲中扮演戰力超強的「星際戰士」，橫越銀河系出任危險使命，與混沌星際戰士和混沌惡魔奮戰。玩家將能在龐大的關卡中奔跑、跳躍和衝刺，射擊全銀河系的異端，從槍戰中充分感受猛擊、高度行動力的滿足感。

 

　　官方表示，本作以 90 年代懷舊射擊遊戲特有視覺風格，結合流暢的遊戲玩法，帶領玩家一起裝填爆彈槍、展現狂亂的超強武力。

　　在官方釋出的新實機展示影片中，可以看到星際戰士以不同的武器射擊，展示每種槍械獨特的射擊和打擊效果，而角色似乎能使用衝刺的方式將敵人消滅。
