While plot details are being kept under wraps, the popular game is set in fictionalized versions of real-life cities, at various points in time, and follow different hacker protagonists who, while having different goals to achieve, find themselves involved with the criminal underworlds of their respective cities. The antagonists are usually corrupt companies, crime bosses, and rival hackers who take advantage of ctOS (central Operating System), a fictional computing network that connects every electronic device in a city together into a single system and stores personal information on most citizens. The player also has access to ctOS, which can be used to control various devices to assist them in combat, stealth, or solving puzzles.

Wilde is known for starring in A24’s Australian critical and commercial hit Talk To Me, for which she earned a BAFTA nomination and AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress — one of the film’s eight AACTA Award wins from 11 nominations. Wilde’s other credits include AACTA Award nominee The Portable Door, ongoing Netflix limited series Boy Swallows Universe, based on Trent Dalton’s bestselling novel, and the upcoming A24 thriller Babygirl

Turi’s debut feature, Hostile, won 19 awards from over 50 nominations on the festival circuit. His star-studded French historical horror Gueules Noires (The Deep Dark) had its international premiere at Fantastic Fest in September 2023 and received the award for Best Feature at Los Angeles’ Screamfest. Turi is also writing and directing a television adaptation of the lauded narrative video game A Plague Tale: Innocence.

Wilde is represented by Hamilton Hodell in the UK, WME Agency in the U.S and IMC Talent in Australia. Turi is represented by UBBA, WME, and Magnolia Entertainment. LeBlanc is represented by Circle of Confusion and IAG. Bata is represented by UTA, Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment, and Casarotto Ramsay & Associates.
